12 Secrets – Secret 12

Flowers Pictures, Images and Photos

Yeah! We are at the last Chapter of the 12 Secrets. I would like to thank Jamie for her contribution in making this happen. Hey Jamie, I so appreciate your creative ideas and totally look forward to what you are up to next!

I also want to thank all the participants for being part of this Circle. Your unique contributions is what makes this so much fun.

Chapter 12 is about planning to achieve your Goals.

I always used to aim  low when setting my Goals. Learning about the Law of Attraction helped me to understand that I just need to know what and why I want something. The HOW is upto the Universe. This truly helps open up to the possibilities within us. We are inspired to do what we have never done and so grow into this delicious expansion that is our Journey of Life. For myself it is my deepest joy to help people on this Journey and help them step into their Magnificence.  I love people to connect with the Joy that is inherent within each one of us. This is my Personal Creativity Creed.

I find it very helpful to have written goals.  I love doing so many things and can get scattered with my focus. Putting my goals in writing helps me to align my focus with what I really want to bring forth. I also love Jack Canfield’s Rule of 5. What 5 things can I do everyday to advance towards my goals? These can be small things as each one takes you closer to your goals. I also love Raymond Aaron’s statement: When you write down your goals, they happen “automagically“. Bob Proctor recommends carrying a goal card in your pocket and looking at it frequently. During my workshops I teach that setting goals is not about the goals. It is about who we become while achieving our goals. Gotta love this.

There is a great “Plan for today” sheet in this chapter. It is a great tool to help keep in touch daily and keeping in focus where you want to go.

Wishing you all a wonderful Journey of growing more of who you really are!

Adrenal Exhaustion

vegetables Pictures, Images and Photos
Jamie left a comment asking if I had tips for Adrenal Exhaustion. Thank you for asking Jamie. Here they are.

Almost everyone leaving a modern fast paced life exhibits some signs of adrenal exhaustion. I also see babies and children displaying these symptoms. These tips in general will help you live your best life.

It is important to go to bed by 10 pm. (I have not met one client who does.) Sleep is very healing and essential. Your sleep will usually be restless if you have exhausted adrenals. Try to have a calming down period before bedtime. Essentials oils and herbs are wonderful helpers as is journaling. Adrenals are replenished during sleep.Vitamin C is very beneficial for this. I am very particular about the supplements I recommend and always prefer them to be from a natural source. Vitamin C  from Acerola Berry or Amla is great. Valerian,Chamomile and Passionflower can be taken in tea or tincture form for their soothing properites.

When you become clear about your life, you will know to say yes to what matters and no to what takes away from the quality of your best life. What is the ideal life you want for yourself?

Eat a diet abundant in fresh and healthy produce. It is the fuel that  supports your body to thrive.

Create a balance between doing and being. Moments of quiet and peace are essential for healing and living a harmonious life.

Create a structure that supports you and your lifestyle. Your support can take the shape of family, friends, wellness consultants, meditation, the home you live in, the food you eat, the books you read, the places you frequent, the thoughts you think, the activities you enjoy and the spiritual faith you practice. Where in your life are you seeking more support? Start with one area. Living well is not a destination. It is a lifestyle. Relax and celebrate every step of the way.

Create your own JOY list and live more of what you have written down.

Like nature, the body thrives on Rhythm. Our bodies  loves regular routines like the same time for eating and sleeping as well as more organization in our daily living.

During a consultation I go into more detail and recommend specific remedies for healing depending on each person.

Your body is magical in its healing ability.

I love Garlic

Can girls talk Garlic? Well, that is exactly what I feel like doing today. I love Garlic. As I am of Indian origin, my memories of the aroma of garlic and spices cooking in the kitchen are among some of the favorites I have. Garlic was used in every curry. You could not make Indian food without Garlic. Garlic is a natural antibiotic and very high in sulfur, which is excellent for the liver. Organic Garlic is even higher in sulfur and tastes way better. It is of course more potent in its raw version. That makes it ideal for delicious raw soups, salads and dips. What would Guacamole be without the Garlic? How about Spinach Salad with Olive Oil and lots of Garlic. Mmmh. Not every bodytype tolerates Garlic well. You can try Garlic Greens which is a milder version.

Now that it is soon planting season I am really looking forward to planting Garlic Greens. Here in Toronto we still have frost till end April. 😦 I do not have green thumbs but the one thing I can grow easily is Garlic Greens. Just take cloves of garlic, remove the skin and push them an inch deep into the soil. Repeat with as many cloves as you want. I also surround my other plants with garlic for bug protection. You can use Garlic Greens like you do Garlic. In addition you also get chlorophyll and a taste that is so good. You can grow this indoors but nothing beats the outdoors version that is nurtured by sun energy and creates memories of warm summer days.

12 Secret – Secret 11

Flowers Pictures, Images and Photos

Happy First Day of Spring! Woo hoo! Winter is officially over. I can not see any blossoms yet but it surely feels like Spring.

Today we are at the 11th Secret of the 12 Secrets.

We are talking Serenity Stealers and Burnout.

As a Wellness Consultant I see this all the time in my clients. I have also of course experienced it myself. Most strongly after the birth of my 3rd child when I was just trying to juggle too much. My 3rd child is now 9 years old. The experience really helped me to pay more attention to myself and living life with more awareness. I am healthier and stronger today. I also deeply understand how strongly imporant Mothers are as a pillar in the family and in society. Being clear of my wants helps me let go of what takes away from my Inner Peace.

We describe burnout as adrenal exhaustion. In my experience it is emotional stress that contributes way more to it than physical labor. A combination of both will have the greatest effect. Most people walk about not even realizing what is happening and ending up taking tranquillizers or antidepressants. It is my passion to educate people on Energy and how it effects our Vibration and ultimately what we attract to us.

The last few chapters have been great reading. If you are recognizing the symptoms while reading this  and it is really effecting who you are please do find someone to help you through this.

For now  it is Spring at last. Remember that Winter never lasts forever even if it seems like that. Spending time outdoors and getting some sunshine always get the happiness endorphins flowing. It is a great time to do some spring cleaning for mind, body, spirit and revitalizing our environment. It is time for clearing our path before we start planting our seeds. I am looking forward to doing just that.

Wishing you a bountiful and beautiful Spring. 🙂

Upcoming events in Toronto

Spring Bird Pictures, Images and Photos

It is March Break Week here in Toronto. Lots of activities for children going on and I am enjoying participating in some of them with Safia. I homeschool her and was thrilled to find Alexis Martin Neely, a million dollar entrepreneur also homeschooling her children. Check out the comments on her blog.

The advantage of living in a city is that there never is a shortage of excitement.

Here are some upcoming events coming on in April. I just picked up the two I really like but there is much more happening in town.

Yoga and Pilates Show – I love this show. Great exhibits and workshops with superb yoga teachers.

Total Health Show – There is always a great panels of speakers and exhibits.

Law of Attraction quote:
We are all one Energy Stream, but what makes the separations or distinguishes the differences is perspective. You are a unique and individual perspective.
— Abraham

Spring is in the Air and my heart is singing! 🙂

12 Secrets – Secret 10

This week we are at Secret 10 of the 12 Secrets – Living in Abundance with Positive Priorities.

I really loved this Chapter. It is full of yummy suggestions and advice. I love Life and this Chapter is full of suggestions for an abundant Life. I just pulled out some of the soul candy and have listed them below:

When we are in touch with true abundance, it permeates the fabric of our lives. It includes passion, both romantic and creative; positive relationships with people, animals, and nature; life experiences you crave and enjoy; personal and professional challenges and growth; and individual moments to savor. Abundance invites us to live the life we desire instead of settling for less.

Prosperity is having the power to create a life of your choice – to get what you really want, not what you are handed. Ruth Ross

The creative process gives back tenfold. It is by definition abundant and unending. Cathleen Rountree

Life is change. Growth is optional. Choose wisely. Karen Kaiser

Gratitude is the most passionate transformative power in the cosmos. When we offer thanks to God or to another human being, gratitude gifts us with renewal, reflection, reconnection. Sarah Ban Breathnach – Check out this inspirational short movie.

Caring for our physical body creates a foundation for health and well-being.

I loved the exercises and am planning to make a Vision Board based on this Chapter.
