12 Secrets – Secret 8

We are already at Secret 8. Check out Jamie’s blog for more information and inspiration.

It is about Empowering Partnerships and Alliances.

This is a very happening Secret for me right now. As I am at the stage of stepping up and stepping out it is of natural consequence that to grow I will be making connections because I know for sure that when people come together there is incredible synergy. Since last fall I am part of a Business Mastermind group and I love having the space to be myself and be there to allow others the space for their creations.  My theme words for 2009 are Creativity and Collaboration and my Mastermind Group provides both. We connect once a week to exchange our goals and inspirations.

I know that as I move forward towards my bigger vision there will be many more collaborations and I am very excited about  all the possiblities.

Attending events are an important part as they are a great place to make professional connections. The blogosphere and the internet are another area to make great connections like we are doing with this book club. It has never been easier to have any kind of collaboration. I attended an event yesterday specifically because Peggy McColl, a # 1 New York Times Best Selling Author,  was one of the speakers. I love Peggy’s books and her talk shows. When I arrived at the event the room was full. I spotted a chair and went up to ask the lady sitting on the chair beside it if it was free. When the lady looked up, I screamed: PEEEEGGGYYY! I got to sit near Peggy for 2 hours until it was her time to speak. I has so much fun . Her beautiful soul just shines through. Peggy distributed her first book on the Internet with no money and no email list and went on to becoming a marketing specialist helping authors like Neale Donald Walsh, Debbie Ford and Joe Vitale market their books. She talks about asking people for help when she was marketing her first book and says people will help if you just ask. So that is the secret of a # 1 New York Times Best Selling Author: Just ask. That is also the first premise of the Law of Attraction: Ask and you shall receive! Check out Peggy’s Website and definitely read her books.

Here is to creating many Empowering Partnerships and Alliances so that together we may serve the world in the best way. There is much need for Women coming together and adding value to each other’s lives in a heart-centered way.

A World of Love

making rainbow magic Pictures, Images and Photos

Thank you to lovely Wish Fairy Jamie  for today’s wish: Who do you wish to send some Love?

I wish to send Love to:

The People of this World, each and everyone of you.

To this planet that nurtures and delights us so abundantly.

I would love to mention that I just created the outline for the new book I want to write. It is a guide for families on how to use the Law of Attraction Principles to live the Feel Good Life.  It is my mission to help people live happy, healthy lives centered in Love.  Our families and relationships can bring us the greatest joy and also much pain. I have created a survey to address what people are looking for the most. I would be delighted to receive any kind of input. You can leave them as comments or email me at fatmazaidi at gmail dot com.

Do you practice the Law of Attraction?

Do you use any rituals, principles or rules with your family?

What brings you great joy?

What are your struggles?

How old are your children?

What do they most love doing?

What brings them great joy?

What are their struggles?

Inner Guidance/Divine Guidance is my beacon of light in the labyrinth of Life.   All my choices are internally guided. I learn through my  experiences. I have always realized that I am very stubborn that way. I am a rebel at heart and love to live Life my way.

12 Secrets – Secret 6

shadow Pictures, Images and Photos

Catching up with Secret 5 as part of Jamie’s book club.

Secret 6 is about Conquering Saboteurs.

I like Janet’s Hagberg’s quote: We understand how our own woundedness is a step in our journey to wholeness.

I consider our saboteurs or shadows as part of our whole. They are here to teach us something and help us heal the wounded parts of ourselves. For myself I find affirmations and gratitude very helpful to deal with my shadows.

I love Louise Hay’s affirmation: All is well. Everything is happening for my highest good. Out of this only good will come and I am safe.

I also remember to see it from my soul which always want peace, harmony and love for all.

From the Law of Attraction point I know that energy will flow where attention goes. So I will shift my focus by using affirmations and/or making a gratitude list.

External saboteurs will get through when our Auras are weak. That can come from our own internal shadows, fatigue, dehydration, not enought movement, stress etc.

EFT or Emotional Freedom Technique is another tool for  deep seated fear, beliefs or guilt.

The best thing is to acknowledge our shadows and then do what will help heal the woundedness from which they originate.

I know that we are all here to live our uniqueness. I am here to be me and I want to honor that.

Martha Graham says it well:

“There is a vitality, a life-force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action. And because there is only one of you in all of time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any medium and be lost. The world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is now how valuable nor how it compares with other expressions.

It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open… wheter you choose to take an art class, keep a journal, record your dreams, dance your story or live each day from your own creative source. Above all else, keep the channel open!”

12 Secrets – Secret 5

Meditation Pictures, Images and PhotosToday’s Secret is all about Self Focus.

For myself I know that without Self Focus I would not be able to do what I do. I prefer to call it Self Mastery. It is doing for myself what nobody else can do for me. It is filling myself up so it overflows. I homeschool my 8 year old daughter and I tend to countless other things in home and my business. I can only do it because I tend and nurture myself . In my work I empower other women to  listen to the whisperings of their heart so that the beat they walk to is their own. I know how it feels to march to another beat. I have been there. I am so very glad to have found my own. It  Here are the things that nourish me:

Eating vibrantly healthy food

Being mindful while eating

Living a life of rhythm and ritual

Spending time in Nature

Inspirational Reading

Being with my family

Listening to Inner Guidance

Mediterranean Pesto

Basil Pictures, Images and Photos

I first tasted Pesto in a Trattoria in a little Italian  seaside village on a balmy summer evening. I will always associate Basil, the main ingredient in Pesto, with Italy.
So I turn there to bring you a delicious recipe in the middle of an intense winter. The original version has cheese and pine nuts. Both are missing from my own absolute favorite version. It is full of super healthy ingredients from the Meditteranean region.

1 bunch basil

1 -2 cloves garlic

2 tbsps stone crushed olive oil (I use Zatoun)

1/3 cup soaked walnuts – (I have tried all nuts in a pesto and love it best with walnuts)

1/4 lemon, squeezed

If you have a mortar and pestle you can use that to blend all the ingredients together. You can also get instant results with a hand held blender.

I can eat this on its own. Here more tips to enjoy Pesto:

Spread on crackers or pizza.

Use it on zuchinni pasta

As a dressing on salads

Delicious as a dip

Top a sliced avocado and/or tomatoes

Mmmmh……… delicioso!

Enjoy while listening to an Italian Serenade.
